Laws of Exponents
Even though most of you know, you can apply these rules to so many different questions.
Some basic rules
ex. a^x+y = a to the x plus y power
1. (a^x)^y = a^xy
2. a^x+y = a^x*a^y
3. (ab)^x = a^x*b^x
4. 1/a^-x = a^x
5. -a^x = -1(a^x)
6.
7. a^0 = 1
8. a^1 = a
9. a^b*a^c = A^b+c
10. (a^c)/(a^b) = a^c-b
